You get a KW Praktiflex with Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 5cm f/3.5 lens. Made in Germany in 1948. Body serial no. 050602. Lens serial no. 3103279. The lens numbers match front and back. This is a 35mm SLR Film Camera made in 1948. Free shipping in the USA. All other buyers pay actual shipping costs. Regards, Darryl

The camera is sold in AS IS condition. I believe this was made at the very onset of the change to the 1948 model because the shutter release was moved to the front of the camera, but this lens mount has the M40 thread and NOT the M42. The Praktiflex name is in printed characters on the front of the viewfinder housing. The shutter does work, but sometimes when I cock the shutter it trips the mirror into the up position. I can then trip the shutter but when I cock the shutter again the mirror will trip back to the up position. It cannot be used like that. I just tried cocking it again 10 times and now it is working properly, but I am sure some adjustment may be needed. The lens focus and diaphragm are smooth. The glass looks OK with some dust. There is oil on the blades, but that affects nothing. The leather is intact, but the baseplate covering needs some glue. There is some brassing on the faceplate. There are no dents. The finder works and the magnifier is intact. The original proper case is included. Overall a fairly nice example of an interesting 35mm SLR camera made by KW in Germany.
