Offered for sale is a group of vintage Marx tin litho train cars, engine and switches. There is a Baltimore and Ohio engine number 62. When placed on a track the engine hummed, but would not move in either direction. It is 9" in length. This is well played with as there are dents and paint loss. The next item is a New York Central Lines Wrecker car. It is 6.75" from the ends of each coupler. There is some paint loss, but no dents. The axles spin freely. The next car is an American Flyer open hopper. It is number 1109 for the Elgin, Joliet and Eastern Railroad. The car is missing both couplers. There is paint loss and some rust spots. The last car is a New York Central caboose. It is numbered 20102. It has a plastic coupler on one end. There are some spots of paint loss.  Also included in this lot is a Marx control panel. There are two red and two green switches on the panel. The last item is a Marx left hand remote control switch. The straight section of track is 9" in length.

The Buy It Now price reflects listings which have ended in the past 60 days.

Please make an offer. Although no reasonable offer will be refused, we ask you to consider our efforts to raise funds for a new American Legion building and err to the side of generosity.

If the Best Offer feature is disabled, that indicates that we've already dropped the price several times and will not accept anything less than the Buy It Now price. At that point, it makes more sense to donate the item to our thrift store which funds the local food pantry than to take the time to carefully pack and ship the item at giveaway prices.

The American Legion is an organization comprised of veterans committed to serving veterans, their families, and their communities. Willis-Chapel Post 306 was chartered in 1929. There are nearly 350 members in our American Legion family in the small town of Green Lake, Wisconsin, home to less than 1,000 residents.
