I'm not the original owner of these items as everything is from an estate I purchased. Previous owner was a robot collector. The previous owner smoked cigarettes so the items will have a cigarette smell to them. Since the user guide & operation manual are paper items, they hold more of the cigarette smell and are worse than the other items in the lot. As I was flipping through the pages of the guide & manual, I would get a whiff of the cigarette smell. All items were stored in a clear tote with a lid on it when I found them so they were somewhat protected.
As far as the working condition of everything goes, I didn't test everything in the lot but I will tell you what I did look at and try to test. When it came around to testing the robot, I noticed the rechargeable battery pack inside the robot was dead so I read the operation manual on how to properly charge the battery and after putting the robot in the proper charging position, I put the robot on the charging station and let it charge all night long. I woke up the next day and saw the light was green and I knew that meant the battery was charged up but I had things to do and wasn't going to be able to test or play with the robot so I left it on the charging station and unplugged the charging station from the wall. Later that day, I had time to test the robot so I plugged the charging station back in and noticed the battery indicator was not showing green anymore so I charged the battery pack up again which took a few hours to get it back on green again. I was able to play with the robot for a little bit while trying to understand how to operate the sound controller, robot and read pages in the manual...then...the battery was dead again so I put the robot back on the charging station overnight and left it on the charger all day long. Later that evening, I was actually able to play with it for a longer time than the first time around and I was actually able to take some videos of the robot playing with the ball, walking around and doing various movements and gestures...it even hiked its rear leg up and was acting like it was peeing...lol. I didn't test or check every function on the sound controllers but It seemed as if the commands I did test worked just fine. I never tested the "performance mode" but I did play around with the autonomous, game mode & sleep mode. I was able to turn ball tracking on/off, put the robot into sleep mode and got him to play with his ball. I never tested or try to put any of the 4 loose memory sticks that are shown into the robot, I just left the memory stick in it that was originally installed in it when I got it. I never tested the Sony MSAC-PR1 PC Card/Parallel Port Adaptor, the Sony MSAC-FD2M Floppy Disk Adapter for Memory Stick or the Dazzle Hi-Speed Memory Card Reader/Writer.
