MAIN FEATURES,  BENEFITS & Description:

Here’s an old Conn Sousaphone, serial number 39 264xxx, that’s been pretty thoroughly used, as has the case.  Not sure of the model number; maybe other ebay-ers can help us with that.   The horn comes with a Blessing 24AW mouthpiece.  The case is well used also has only one latch (which, sadly, is barely functional).  Because of the case, and the large size of the horn, we will not be shipping this item.  Also, it looks like the horn has (at least) one brace that’s been broken off (see photos).  The horn does play however, and it’s believed to be fully functional.  The buyer can check it out fully upon pickup, and complete the sale only if fully satisfied.    One slide is stuck, but the rest of the slides and valves all move freely.  The mouthpiece may be installed incorrectly at the time of the photo shoot, but there is another short neck piece that comes with the horn also.  Additionally, it’s hard to tell what other repairs have been done, so be sure to see all photos and ask questions, and we’ll answer to the best of our abilities.
