Up for auction/sale is a vintage (1969, I believe) Harmony ladder braced small bodied acoustic guitar.  It is hard to read, but the stamps inside the soundhole look like "S-69", which I believe means that it was made in the Sping of 1969, "made in U.S.A", and "2368H167".  If you happen to know any specifics about the year or model, please message me so that I can update this listing to make it as accurate as possible.  The size of this guitar is very close to that of a Gibson LG0, LG1, or LG3.  This was made in Chicago, Illinois back when you could get a decent American made guitar from a number of outlets such as Sears/Roebuck, Western Auto, and Montgomery Wards catalogs.  This guitar has a really cool "all on one side/fender-style" headstock.  I believe that all the parts are original except for the pickguard, which looks to be a home-made replacement/replica.  The pickguard isn't attached solidly.  I haven't committed to glueing it on in case someone would rather have it without or get a better replacement pickguard.  There are a number of condition issues that need to be mentioned, which makes me consider this a "project" guitar due to a bit of work that is required to get this guitar in top, playing shape.  It can be played as it is, but there are at least 2 braces that are not fully attached due to the old glue being brittle.  If you tap the top and back of the body, it is quite evident that some braces are loose yet still attached. One of the braces has become detached and will be included.  I believe this is due to having been exposed to water at some point.  You can see what appears to be water damage on the sides and bottom of the guitar.  This has also caused some finish checking below the bridge and some detachment on the back bottom of the guitar at the binding.  I don't personally work on guitars, but I would assume that the repairs could be done fairly easily by someone who is well versed in this type of repair work.  I'm not sure if the bridge had been reglued at some point, but it is solid.  The nut may have replaced, too.  There is plenty of wear along the entire guitar.  Look at the photos provided for overall condition.  A vintage period correct (I believe) case will be included.  This guitar will be shipped with strings loosened in the case itself with plenty of padding surrounding the guitar itself and lots of tape keeping the case securely shut and clearly labeled "fragile" as many as 10 times.  To be clear, I use the case itself as the shipping container with plenty of padding surrounding the guitar, keeping it stable so it stays still no matter how hard it is shakes or bumped.  The tape that I use to keep the case shut is a clear packing tape that comes off clean yet sticks to itself very well.  I have shipped countless guitars all over the world many times in this manner with no problems whatsoever.

All my items are sold "as is" and should arrive in condition as pictured.  I am not a guitar expert, luthier, or tech.  I do not repair, set-up, or make adjustments to guitars.  I leave that work up to the professionals.  I do my very best to honestly and accurately describe my items to the very best of my abilities.  I charge a flat/fixed rate for shipping and HANDLING due to the unpredictable nature of fluctuating shipping costs, balloon rates, fuel prices, packing materials, and varying destinations.  Thank you very much for your interest and valuable time.  Happy bidding, good luck, and most importantly, take care.
