1962 Silvertone H612 Archtop

Made by Harmony

Chicago USA

Purchased recently from a lady cleaning out her mothers house. She found the guitar in the basement of the house and never knew her mother to play or own a guitar. Was stored in its original case in the basement and has a slight musty smell to it. More so the case than the guitar. I aired out both and the odor is faint.

In great shape. Plays and sounds amazing. Low action.

Original tuners, pickguard, bridge, saddle, strap button and nut.

Nut appears to be bone not plastic.

There is a slight bend to the G string tuner. (still works fine)

Small gap under the back of the neck heal but the neck doesn't seem to have any flex even when strung at full tension.

Pitting in the fretboard at the first few frets. Looks like the guitar was heavily played then put away and forgotten about.

Appears they had the guitar on display on a bad stand of sorts (scratches on either side of the strap button).

Small hole on the body, looks like someone may have attached a pickup at some point.

See photos for up close shots of above mentioned.

Will ship the guitar in original chipboard case, bubble wrapped with the strings slacked.
