This 39.8 acre (over 1.73 million square foot) square-shaped lot lies four miles west of the incredible 22 mile long Rye Patch Reservoir in Pershing County, Nevada; a very friendly and unspoiled part of the Old West.  The Rye Patch area is well-know for spectacular placer type gold that was recently discovered.  The famous Poker Brown mine is only 1.39 miles to the west.  Although this area has been known for over a century for lode type gold mining, placer type gold deposits were not discovered until the 1980’s.  One reason is that the placer type gold in this area seems to defy logic being found on or near the surface and shows no stream-wear.  Some of the gold is found in crystalline form while other specimens are found embedded in a quartz matrix.  I talked with some prospectors at the Star Point Trading Post in nearby Mill City at the intersection of I 80 and NV 400 and was shown pictures of huge nuggets found very close to this property in the Rye Patch area.  You just need to type in “Rye Patch Gold” into a search engine like Google.com to see what I am talking about, fantastic finds!  The section this properly lies within is completely surrounded by gold claims.  Remember, this not the sale for a claim but the actual deed to the property itself.

This would be a great property to put a cabin on or whatever you want since the zoning is very unrestrictive and allows for many uses including residential.  Building permits are available since this property was subdivided before the June 30, 2007 deadline.  You should take this into consideration when looking at other 40 acre parcels that are zoned AMR.
