*UNIQUE* GIFT FOR SUPERMAN FANS / COLLECTORS--JERRY SIEGEL LETTER Без бренда
Характеристики
I’m comics and TV writer Martin Pasko. This listing is part of the ongoing sale of my comics and animation memorabilia, including one-of-a-kind “oddities.”
YOU WILL NOT FIND ANYTHING LIKE THIS AT THIS PRICE ANYWHERE ELSE!! Check out what a search of "Jerry Siegel Personal Correspondence" turns up on eBay (nothing), or on Amazon, where a seller is asking over $700 for a single letter.
This is a letter written by Jerry Siegel to his friend, Richard Kyle, in 1974.
THIS
IS A FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY FOR COMICS HISTORIANS AND SUPERMAN FANS TO
COLLECT DOCUMENTATION OF JERRY SIEGEL'S FEELINGS ABOUT BEING SUPERMAN'S
CO-CREATOR, IN UNCENSORED AND (THEN) OFF-THE-RECORD LANGUAGE--STUFF HE
COULDN'T EXPRESS PUBLICLY BECAUSE OF THEN-PENDING LITIGATION. CHECK OUT THE PARAGRAPH THAT BEGINS, "NATIONAL (DC) IS WEIRD..."
"ORAL HISTORY" DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS.
PLEASE NOTE:
The recipient did not preserve this item as a collectible per se, but merely filed it away. It's survived many moves from one filing cabinet to another. It's nevertheless a priceless historical artifact.
This item is not "authenticated" by a "service." I knew Jerry and corresponded with him myself, and I can personally attest that this is the real deal.
