1/4" (~6mm) Leather Drive Belt
for Edison, Columbia, Pathé, Lioret, Edison-Bell, Others
Brown - 18" Uncut Length - Straight Cut

You are buying an 18" long, 1/4" wide leather belt. This belt is a STRAIGHT length that is easily formed into a belt for virtually any machine. Leather is not only historically correct, but it is actually a better choice than rubber for technical reasons. I have several Edison machines that still have their original leather belts and they run very smoothly and are as quiet as a sleeping newborn. What makes leather belts run so well? It is simply the care that is taken when the belt is sized and spliced. This is something you can easily do yourself. The instructions that I will send you are not the sloppy whack, glue and overlap technique being circulated. The instructions I will give you are based on documents at the US Patent Office - perhaps the single most underutilized phonograph resource in existence.
