- This map opens to 23" x 32" and has great
detail on old street and highway alignments, with
cartography by Rand McNally.
- The street map of Washington is on one side, and the coverage area extends from Lyon Park
to Anacostia, including Arlington National Cemetery, Columbia Heights,
Lincoln Park, and Georgetown.

On the reverse side there's a map of the Washington metropolitan area,
including Rockville, Greenbelt, Chevy Chase, Takoma Park, Falls Church,
District Heights, and Alexandria.
- The Theodore
Roosevelt Bridge is shown as under construction, as are long stretches
of I-495.
The map was distributed by the Atlantic Refining Company in 1962 and is dated in the legend.
The code number in the lower margin is 2-583681V3-4.
- There's an Atlantic Imperial gas pump on the front cover. The
artwork on the back cover shows a 4-lane asphalt highway and an
Atlantic service
station.
- Condition: This map is in very good
condition,
bright and clean, with no marks, rips, or tears.
