This map can guide you off the beaten path and back again with miles of clearly marked trails including portions of the Pacific Crest, Pioneer, and Tahoe Rim Trails.

To help you choose the path that’s right for you, trails are color coded according to the designated usage and mileage between intersections is indicated.

The Yuba - Donner Scenic Byway is shown for those exploring the area by car. 

Insets contain information on safety, contact information for 12 organizations, explanation of trail symbols and other useful information.

A legend shows various roads (including 4WD and high clearance), OHV route, trails (hike, bike, horse, interpretive, multi-use, snowmobile, Tahoe Rim and Pacific Crest Trails,), call box, camping (including primitive and group), backcountry hut, picnic area, boat access, swimming, fishing access, RV camping and dump station, Alpine and Nordic ski areas, sno-park, restaurant, gas station, wildlife viewing area, groceries, showers, universal access and other areas of interest.

Road types are differentiated, so you know if the route you choose is a four-wheel-drive or high-clearance road.

A full UTM grid is printed on the map to aid with GPS navigation. Selected waypoints are located on this map. Latitude/longitude and UTM coordinates are located along the map border.

This map features detailed topography with shaded relief; contour lines; elevations for summits, passes and some lakes; water features; areas of wooded cover; and clearly defined, color-coded boundaries between different land management agencies.

This map was printed in the United States, at a certified green printer, using low V.O.C. inks on waterproof, tear-resistant material.
