This is a nice all original 1950 Gibson L-48 arch top guitar with case. Very little finish loss except for the back of the neck. Lots of checking, but not excessive for a 70+ year old guitar. Original pickguard shows signs of deterioration but is still very solid and functional. The tuner buttons also show signs of deterioration but are working fine. Neck joint is very tight. Some average wear on the back. Top has some small dings but is crack free. Frets show wear up to 5th fret, but plays OK with no buzzing. Action is medium but adjustable at the bridge. There is an unusual number stamped on the back of the head stock, that may not be factory original. FON 5534-29 stamped inside the body is Gibson factory original number. Comes with non-original chip board case.
