Vintage NOS Schwinn #9707 Gold Dot Dia Compe Brake Component Set for 22mm / 7/8" handlebar
Take a look at all of the photos above. This is a Genuine Schwinn Part #9707 Caliper Brake Component Bag containing 1 pair of Dia Compe Gold Dot Brake levers with cable/housing set. The lever clamps are stamped 22. This means that these are designed to work on road bike handlebars that are 22mm or 7/8". This was a common repair part designed to fit many of the common road bikes back in this time period. The cable housing in the kit is date coded 0177. The same with the boxes that these kits were shipped in. So these were production January 1977. Definitely Vintage component parts to fit the old road bikes.
