Pair of Antique Wooden Ancestral Tablets - CHINA - Qing Dynasty
Pair of wooden ancestral tablets from China. Dating from the 19th century, late Qing Dynasty. Carved from wood, with beautiful gilded carvings at the top of each tablet and on the separate base. Each tablet is is in three pieces: base, back tablet, and cover. Covers remove to reveal hand written ancestor prayer dedications. Please examine photos carefully for condition. Both are in very good condition. Purchased years ago at auction, part of my personal collection that I am selling to downsize. Price is for BOTH tablets
